Amber Dameron is the Revenue Accounting Manager in the Finance and Accounting department at Phoenix Energy, bringing 16 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. She holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, and her career has spanned accounting, finance, operations, audit, and IT—giving her a comprehensive view of how operating companies function from permitting through point of sale. She is known for her heavy attention to detail, deep understanding of federal and state guidelines, and broad knowledge of upstream operations.

Amber is energized by the cross-departmental nature of her role—working with colleagues across the organization, understanding how others perceive the accounting function, and appreciating the impact her department has on the business as a whole. At Phoenix Energy, she is focused on consistently improving processes and working more closely with Land and Operations to ensure the company is capturing true revenues and identifying any gaps in existing workflows.

Originally from Monticello, Minnesota, Amber is married and shares her home with two German Shorthaired Pointers. Outside of work, she loves to travel and explore new cultures and cuisines, create memories with family and friends, and stay active outdoors with her dogs.
